Online Video Tele-Rehabilitation Appointments Now Available!
We are pleased to announce that we are now offering Online Video Tele-Rehab for physiotherapy, chiropractic and kinesiology. This will be done through our secure Jane Clinic Management software that we have used for years for our online booking, charting and billing.
Do your rehab in the comfort of your own home in a confidential FaceTime-like session. A computer or a laptop that has camera and audio capabilities is required, as well as the browser Google Chrome or Firefox. You will need a quiet safe space around your computer to be able to move as this session will offer you movement assessment, exercise, stretching and pain management options and other self-care instructions that you can be doing at home. You will need access to your phone in the unlikely event of a disconnection.
So far, ICBC and the extended health companies Canada Life (formerly Great West Life), SunLife and Group Health are covering with some plans (please check your plan for your particular coverage), but discussions are underway as other companies manage and adapt their policies to reflect the current situation.
