Victor Morin, Registered Massage Therapist - Retired
Victor has been a Registered Massage Therapist for 29 years and is Co-Owner of Equilibrium. He recently retired from hands on practice so that he could devote more time to the operations of the clinics and to his family.
Victor comes from a sports background. He played four years of Junior Hockey in the OHL and went on to play professional hockey in the American Hockey League, International League and in Europe. His team in Salzburg, Austria employed a Massage Therapist and it was through this introduction that he realized the benefits of Massage Therapy.
Victor’s treatment style is a focus of Myofascial Release and Deep tissue massage but he often blends several of the types of modalities, that he has been trained in over the years, into his sessions.
He teaches his patients how to lengthen and stretch muscle and fascial tissue to get the most benefit from their sessions.
He has lived and practiced Massage Therapy in Vancouver, England, Grand Cayman, Bermuda, Whistler and Victoria.
Victor enjoys travel, with one of his favourite destinations being Ireland. An avid golfer, Victor has golfed more than 50 rounds of golf in the British Isles. His golfing highlight is shooting 85 at St. Andrews.
He has a passion for photography and film and continuing to learn as much as he can to guide his patients to live a pain free life.
